‘Srixon puts Cleveland drivers in #1 spot right along side their wedges’
Well that was the hope I am sure…when the new proud papa of Cleveland Golf (SRI or Srixon Golf) purchased the company back in late 2007. We had not yet seen much Srixon influence on any Cleveland design up to this point. But the All-New 2009 Cleveland Launcher might be your first look at a collaboration between the two companies.
Lots of Questions
When the sale of Cleveland Golf was first made public…many wondered how the two companies would mesh. People wondered what is the plan? Srixon had great clubs over in Japan and a good share of the ball market in the US. And Cleveland…well they had the #1 wedge in golf but were not consistently staying in the Top 4 when it came to iron and driver sales. And we all know how tough it is to crack that Top 4.

So would Srixon continue trying to break into the US market with its own line of drivers like they had in the past or would they begin putting some of the Srixon technology into the Cleveland line and only focus it on the US market? Well these newly released shots from the USGA conforming list might shed some light on the topic.

Well I will have to hit it but from the sole I am not that impressed. But I will be honest the first HI-Bore head had a super hot face. Are there any more pictures of the club yet?
