Posted January 31, 2010 by GolfSpy X
48 More Of The Best Products at The 2010 PGA Show
As we promised…we would deliver the rest of the links portion of our coverage to you guys. Here are 48 more of the best products and also some of the wackiest products we found at the show. We hope to all that couldn’t be there we will give you a little bit of what an experience it is like to be at the PGA Show. If you missed the first “58 Best Products from the 2010 PGA Show“ you can see them by clicking here.
(From earlier in Part 1)
PGA SHOW COVERAGE – DAY 1 (PART 2)
Alright fellas…we just got back from the show and we are pumped to show you everything we saw…but first we thought we would kick off (Day 1) coverage of the 2010 PGA Show with something a little different then most other sites will be doing. Most the other sites are just getting their first looks at the equipment that we have already shown you guys sneak-peeks of month’s in advance. So we thought you guys might want to see some of the unseen gear first. Don’t worry though if you are looking for pics and videos we got plenty of them for you to see a little later in the week.
We have also put the best of the best from the 2010 PGA Show in a “Quick Reference Guide Type Format” so you don’t have to sift through all the stuff you don’t want to see.
“Golfer Gear Head’s Bible!”
The products I am referring to are the ones inside the “THE PGA SHOW DIRECTORY & BUYER’S GUIDE” book. This was always one of my favorite things to get when I first started going to the PGA Shows. I think it should be available to every golfer…not just the ones that get to go to the show. This is another reason I started MyGolfSpy…I wanted to give every single golfer the opportunity to see what all of us in the business got to see. There are always such amazing products at the shows…many of which might never be seen again for one reason or another. This PGA Show Guide back then was literally like the “Golfer Gear Head’s Bible!” it had every single exhibitor listed with all their contact info and web addresses. Only bad thing is there are usually over 1,000 different companies listed and the majority of them aren’t worth seeing. Nowadays…sites like MyGolfSpy show you a lot of this gear before the products are actually first launched to the public at the show…you guys are the very first in the world to see some of this stuff…but back then…this was the ONLY way to see all the new and exciting gear.
58 of the Coolest Golf Sites Today & More Tomorrow!
Soooo…what we have done is go through every single company that was listed in this guide and hand-picked the ones we thought had some of the coolest or just wackiest products we thought you guys would love to see! This way if you couldn’t make it to the show it wouldn’t matter…because we would show you all the good stuff anyways. And…you wouldn’t be out a couple grand from having to pay for the trip either
![]()
NOTE: We have excluded most of the major OEM’s since most of us already know how to find them.
4 Days – 4 Different Formats!
We will also be breaking it up in to 4 different formats for you guys (Links, Photos, Videos & last but not least the MyGolfSpy Awards).
Today is Day 1 of MyGolfSpy’s 4-Day coverage of the 2010 PGA Show…It will be spread out over a 4-Day span…this way you don’t get fired from your job for looking at what we call “GOLF PORN” all day. Today you will start off by seeing the first half (58 Golf Sites) of the best products we found for you and tomorrow we will show you the rest of the links!
We have also included a screenshot for every single site and a short description just to make it easier for you to pick and choose what you do and what you don’t want to see. We are going to be giving you links today of 58 of some of the most un-discovered golf products…and a few that have already been discovered but ones you might be seeing more of in ‘10! Many of these products never make it to market…but that’s not because they don’t work. So check’em out…this should keep ya’ busy for a while.
P.S. – Don’t forget to check back tomorrow and the rest of the week for all the other companies we found for you and the *pictures* and *videos* as well…ENJOY!!
P.P.S. – Don’t forget to tell us which ones your favorites are. These guys I am sure would love to get the MyGolfSpy readers feedback.

Fantastic since I could not get to the show this year. Thanks for letting us see the goodies.
How was the show for turnout? Our Rep was there but felt it was a liitle less than 2009.
February 1st, 2010 at 10:38 am
Glad you enjoyed BTO…I felt the show turnout was down again this year. Also like we said the show used to be THE place to see this stuff for the first time and also it used to be when every OEM launched new products…but now they are always launching products so the feeling is much different now.
There needs to be change to the shows format in my opinion.
February 1st, 2010 at 9:12 am
How could you miss the new putters from Yes!? High MOI blades and new Donna II model- these guys are really cutting edge with technology AND design… maybe even under your radar!?
February 1st, 2010 at 10:42 am
Like we stated we tried to show the products that are not as well known to the average golfer in our lists. YES! Golf is fairly well known already. They are definitely not under our radar…we have known about them for a long time. Although I have never been a big fan of the quality of their sticks. Although this year they had a few nice sticks.
February 1st, 2010 at 9:25 am
just wondering why Rife putters cannot make the list?
February 1st, 2010 at 10:36 am
Hey Pat – the reason you did not make the list is because we did not include the OEM’s and the sites people mostly all already know about. We will be highlighting you guys when we show all our photos from the shows.

i’ve had the privledge of going to the show once and for those who have’nt it is an overwelming expeiriance. unfortunetly we had a few to many adult beverages that week and could’nt remember half of what we saw but oh well. early last year i was still working as an asst, pro at a private club and one day a member was out on the practice green with some device. our director of golf our caddiemaster and myself walked down to see what this thing was and within 30 minutes or so there was at least 20+ people gathered around and everybody wanted one. the member would’nt tell us where or how he got it but did tell us the product would be coming out soon. the products name ended up being ROBOCUP and they made their debut at last years show and i see they were there again this year. the initial buzz i saw that day had dollar signs written all over it. i hope they do well because this things pretty cool.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:31 pm
i have just got done peeking at everything and after looking at all of the latest and greatest technology you have shown us so far , the only other item that sticks out to me is SCRATCH GOLF’s new line of irons. out of all this new stuff im a sucker for a traditional style look. i dont know if they officially inked him but maybe Ryan Moore can move some irons for them. also about 10 or so years sgo i had this putter and i know Jesper parnevik used it and i swear it is almost identical to these PENDULINE PUTTERS. i cant remember the name but man, that thing was a piece of junk.
February 1st, 2010 at 1:34 pm
Scratch definitely has that true traditional look…even with their new putter line. The Penduline putter was not of the highest quality either. The finish on it looked liked they put way too many coats of paint on it. Almost entirely filled the engraved portions of the sole.
February 1st, 2010 at 9:00 pm
I believe you are refering to Stickygolf’s P2 Solution II putter??
February 2nd, 2010 at 7:39 am
G-BURNZ
yes, you got it. it looks almost like PENDULINE PUTTERS took one of those P2’s and dipped it in black paint. i remember i used to hit tee balls with it at the range hoping i would break it.
February 1st, 2010 at 10:58 pm
Check out the best golf product not at the show, Photo Ball Markers. Maybe next year we can be there. Photo Bal Markers are the perfect gift for the golfer that has everything.
February 2nd, 2010 at 1:57 pm
KEN,
NICE SHAMELESS PLUG for your company.it is a pretty good idea though. some people might balk at dropping that kind of loot on easily lost ball markers though. if you want a suggestion you might want to plug your product on every major cities craigslist. this is a craigslist type of pricerange and it might drum up some word of mouth. just a thought.
February 2nd, 2010 at 2:25 pm
LOL
February 2nd, 2010 at 12:40 pm
like many I’m always curious about many of the gadgets and products. I realize that many have to recoup a ton of R&D. However I’m sure I’m not alone in the ‘is that it!!?’ factor when I’ve opened the box. A certain well known swing coach’s stuff springs to mind.
I don’t mind paying for innovation but $ 35 for a piece of plastic with a chart printed on it or $100 for a laser that is the same one you buy in a gas station for $ 5 really gets my goat. Can they REALLY justify this ? Am I the only one who thinks that a lot of these guys deserve to end up in the bargain bin because they ask an inflated price for a generic product or one that’s shoddily made.
