Born and raised in the country suburbs, I didn’t even start playing this sport till I was in my early 20′s. My work schedule allowed me to play 3 to 5 times a week and as each week passed, I grew more and more enchanted. Hitting that little “white pill” had me playing courses all across the US. Poipu Bay Golf Course, Hawaii ~ Troon North Golf Club, Scottsdale Arizona ~ Callaway Gardens Golf Resort, Georgia ~ Crandon Golf Course, Miami ~ Key West Golf Club, Key West Florida….to name a few.
Then it finally happened, one sunny day on a lush green course. 16 holes behind me, and the 17th hole, par 3, ahead of me by 118 yards. The wind was waving the pin gently towards me, as if pointing at me from the back of the green.
Taking up the challenge, I chose my 8 iron, and positioned for a practice swing. It felt wonderful, the breeze in my hair, the solid weight of the club in my hand, and the members of my Thursday morning 18 hole golf league scattered about the course around me, their voices barely echoes at the edge of my mind as I lined myself up, swung, and watched it fly!
Up it arched, straight and true, aiming at the green. It landed, bouncing directly towards the pin

That Taylor-Made prize pack would go great with my current arsenal. Right now, I play the Burner, R7 TP irons, RAC 56* wedge, and the Rossa Monza Corza Mid putter. The ClimaCool shirts are top notch (I’ve got 2) and I desperately need a TM hat. Oh and you want to give me a dozen balls and a backpack. Yes sir!
I just started teaching professionally full time and the Taylor Made back pack would be very helpful at this point in time.

I should be the winnner of the “14Stix.com – Taylormade Prize Pack Contest” because the prizes are all “tailor made” for me…HAHA…get it? Ok…never mind.
First of all, the TM TP Black dozen will help because I have two kids with a third on the way. And in this economy, I can not afford to buy ProVs like all the good golfers do. I am simply sick and tired of playing with the Maxflis and Top Flite XLs that I find in the bushes (no offense to anyone associated with said companies). The “14″ on the ball will be a great reminder for me to check out this “14Stix” website, which honestly, I never heard of prior to this contest.
The Climacool shirt….honestly….I probably wouldn’t wear it on the golf course, as the majority of my rounds are played on munis, which are perfectly OK with my tattered T-shirts. However, I would look great (or at least better) coming to work…I am a teacher, and the Climacool material will keep me cool when I am trying to teach ungrateful adolescents about the elements of literature.
The hats will be great for wearing on the course and keeping my head safe from the brutal Hawaiian sun. My mama always says that baldness skips generations, and if she is correct, my dome will be as smooth and shiny as my grandfather’s head was. Those hats would work great with my SPF 90 sunscreen.
Lastly, the bag…..Sadly, the bag wouldn’t see the golf course, but it would carry my school supplies as my “ES” (whatever that stands for) backpack from Wal-Mart just ain’t cutting it. A struggling 13-handicap who can’t hit a fairway should be carrying something better.

I’m a poor grad student who daydreams of being on the course all day. When I do get the chance to play I make the most of it. Sneaking off to find lost balls and always taking advantage of the twilight and winter rates. No one would appreciate this prize pack more than me. It gets old playing with range balls, irons with bent shafts, and polos from 1993.

I think i should win the contest because i am going to great lengths to pursue my golf career…i’m working hard earning US $250 a month in the best course in the DR, love the golf, but never have money to get golf gear…i don’t want no pity, i’m here by choice…i just could use the backpack..

I’d absolutely love that prize pack! I’m just starting to get the TM bug, but man they make great gear! I played the TP Red all last summer and in various state tournaments it quickly became my ball of choice.
If I won, I’d probably just keep the shirt then donate the rest to the first tee. I know I would’ve wanted a tricked out backpack like that when I was a kid.
I’ve never win ANYTHING but I figure what the hell, keep at it and someday it’ll happen!

I read all the comments and think that I deserve to win because I don’t have any TaylorMade gear and don’t have any sons and have never had a Hole in One. 14Stix.com, To make my commet short and sweet, I just lost my job and on a very tight buget ( not, I’m really broke as all get out!!) so winning this would really help out. Having a new shirt would work great on job interviews and using the backpack to cary my job hunting stuff in. The new balls would work great too, since I play with used balls that I hawk for in the ruff , as for the new hats, well to me that would be a LUXURY ITEM for me since I don’t own one. I feel the reason they should pick me are as follows. I’m a Taylormade supporter I play TM SQ 282 driver I have TM Irons the 2004 T stamp mb’s and I wear Adidas shoes and Climacool shirts. but the real reason I should be picked as the winner is i had a terrible 2008. I missed the entire 2008 season due to left knee injury. That may sound like I want the sympathy vote! But in reality what this meant was I had to stay home everyday except since I had surgery on 12/30 I’ve been going to therapy 3 days a week.The rest of the time I have 4 kids at home and I have to listen to the wife everyday 7 days a week!!! I’m hoping I can get back to golf this season and WINNING this PRIZE would make such a rough 2008 all worth living!

I should win the Taylormade Prize Pack because ever since 9/11 and the way the French turned their backs on us I have made it a point to boycott everything French. However, this being a new year and the US electing the first true minority race president , I am trying to turn over a new leaf of forgiveness and brotherhood. Why me? That’s easy, I am sitting at my PC looking at about 4 feet of snow and ice. In the last two months I lost power/heat for 12 days, once the power came back, all the pipes split flooding the house. I am sleeping on an air mattress and living out of boxes. I need something to look forward to

Taylormade owns the golf market without a doubt. I love playing with their equipment and above all it is a peoples company. Never had a single issue with dealing with customer service. Ive been looking for this backpack in stores so why not fill this out and try to get it for free.

Lets see, I just joined this local amateur tour in their worst flight – C – for 16+ handicappers, never played competitively and I would like to show up looking like I know what I’m doing. I think my Bike Shorts, 1980s Tube sox, and wooden shaft clubs might give away a little, but hey with this package I could end up looking like a golfer should.
