Make Golf History & WIN $1000 Putter!
The Bobby Grace Putter Company and MyGolfSpy.com in a joint effort, announced today the beginning of what is believed to be an industry first!
The “Name That Putter” contest will allow golfers from around the world to actually NAME Bobby Grace’s latest innovative putter offering in his upcoming AMG line and WIN an Artist Series custom putter worth $1000! Yeah the famous putter designer Bobby Grace…one of the most recognized names in the world when it comes to putters. Right now the AMG prototype (putter to be named) is currently known simply as “Project 1putt” but will soon possibly carry the name given by a MyGolfSpy reader. So take a look at the super secret photos of the putter to be named later and brainstorm as many ideas as you can.
“Project 1Putt” Details
The putter, will feature “Mass Ring Technology” and Bobby Grace’s game improvement HSM insert which boasts the highest MOI of any putter ever designed by Bobby Grace. The putter will have a black and silver color scheme and be the most forgiving putter EVER produced by Bobby. It’s “Mass Ring Technology” adds a stainless steel ring to a body crafted out of aircraft aluminum. This combination gives this putter the highest MOI of any putter ever designed by Bobby. (This says A LOT as Bobby’s mallets pretty much started the high MOI craze several years ago!)

Putters, like narrow ties coming to wide ties, continue to evolve in a similar pattern. Throughout putter history, there have been great putters by great designers and crummy putters by heaven knows who.
Then comes Bobby Grace. WoW! The man knows. Can’t say much more than that. He is with the cream of the crop when it comes to putter design and construction.
I’ve been playing and winning with my Bobby Grace for years and you could not get mine away from me in any way. End of story. Get it, use it, WIN!

No actually we had a server issue when we switched hosts and lost the last 2 articles. We luckily could grab 1 of them off Google Cache but lost the comments on this one CJ…sorry man.

Great contest and my name is in, makes me hungry just saying it too!

Check the spelling on the GolfSpy website. It would be ’slick’ if I won and someone at the Masters was playing with a Bobby Grace….but, guess what’s there! ‘SICK’
Yikes, call out the Marines! Where’s my webmaster? Get the President on the phone NOW!

LMAO! Pheadar it is actually supposed to say ‘SICK’. That term is slang for ‘Kick-A$$’

In all my 70 years I must admit, I missed that one. Old Dog, new trick! I’ll send my Marines to Ponte Vedra, the Webmaster back to bed and the President?….hmmmmm…..Pluto comes to mind.

A putter is a putter. It would be rather interesting to compare the performance of this to my array of Ray Cook putters that have served me well for many many years and produced a vast number of 1 putt greens! Let’s see how my submission stacks up with the others and perhaps this will be another 1 putt green.

J.W……. As in all sports and as well in all activities….Feel has alot to do with our outlook on the game. I recently tried the Scotty Cameron series of putters and thought there could be nothing better…..That is until I tried several other brands next to them. I settled on the IC-20 by Nike and it has served me well. I DO, however, Like your passion about the game and love the heck out of this site because of people on it like you. Good luck in the contest!!!
