“How Do You Want Your Putter Stamped?

Today we have a special offer for you guys coming from one of the most well respected designers in the “boutique putter design business” and that is C&L Putters (www.350milled.com). For the hard core putter collector I am sure you are familiar with the name…but if you are new to the addictive hobby or just looking for a truly one-of-a-kind personalized flatstick then look no further.  I would highly recommend getting one in your hands.

Not only is each putter custom-built precisely to your desired  loft, lie and length specifications…but you can also choose from the following and all of this for under $300.  Which you could expect to pay 2-3 times that from other well known putter designers:

  • Control over how your putter is stamped – You Design the Stamps!
  • Choice on alignment aides – Site Dots, Site Lines, or a combination
  • Choose your Finish -  on carbon models such as Std Oil, Dark Oil, Black Ox, or 3x Black
  • Choose your Finish – on Stainless models such as III Blast, 2X Satin, or a High Polish
  • Choose your Paint Color
  • Choose your Grip Color – Iomic
  • Choose your Headcover
  • Built to your custom specs — Loft, Lie, and Length

*** Nippon shafts, Iomic grips, and Ame head covers are all included in our std price ***

An Amazing Buying Experience!

And their customer support is fantastic.  It’s not very often that you can pick the brain of one of the best and have one of them Chip or Lee (aka: C&L) actually answer the phone when you call.  We have spoken to many owners of a C&L and I have heard nothing but impeccable comments from every last one of them…not only about their service but their putters as well….which says a lot in this day and time.  One of the golfers we spoke to who already owns 3 C&L’s said he was just waiting for us to publish this article with the MyGolfSpy Discount so he could hurry up and order his 4th.  Just like collector’s of Scotty Cameron’s golfers are beginning to follow the guys over at C&L as well.

“An Experience You Will Never Forget”

I guess I would analogize buying a C&L putter to gambling.  Remember in college…when you put $50 bucks on a college football game between 2 teams you had almost never even heard of?  But when kickoff started you were driving 100mph to get back to the dorm to make sure you did not miss one snap of this otherwise meaningless game.  It just made it more interesting to watch when you had something riding on the game.  Hell, I remember a game between a couple scrub teams that I watched like it was the super bowl just to see if I one beer money for the next weekend.

You get the same type of feeling when you buy a putter from a boutique putter company…it just means more to you when you pull it out of the bag and take that headcover off of a putter that you had made especially for you and with your own ideas stamped into the design.  You take care of it like it was your first born.  If you have never purchased a putter from a company like C&L (www.350milled.com) I would highly recommend it.  I promise it will be an experience you will never forget and a putter you will never get rid of.

I bet that putter increases the psychological intimidation factor in matches. Sure beats some of the crap guys buy from China.

I think these customization on the putters are ugly. I do not understand why many golfers think a putter is “sick” with symbols and letters all over it. That of course reflects on the taste of the buyers, not the designer.

I also prefer slightly rounded edges on these nice putters. Do many golfers prefer the sharp edges or is there a design advantage with sharp edges?

Hello,
We are able to roll the edges of our putters and most of the time there is no extra charge. Some customers choose minimal stamping and others choose a lot of stamping. It is just a matter of taste.

Thanks for the reply Chip. To be clear, I do think your putters are of excellent craftsmanship.

By the way, does the CL-II in the first picture come in left handed?

I feel badly for the guy who needs four putters. Why doesn’t he take a lesson or two and learn to putt? Doesn’t he know that putters get jealous of each other?

I own 2 of these gems. I can understand where your coming from Gary about stampings and everything, but I guess it is just a personalization thing. My putters are one of a kind and this is something the best designers in the world almost all do to their sticks. And to be able to get a hand made putter 100% milled for under $300 is a steal. These guys are barely making anything at this price. And their blood sweat and tears go into each and everyone. Which is more then can be said for a lot of the other putter makers who just get them cast over in China.

Thanks R-Diggs. Your point is well taken.

I am going to go get one of these ASAP! I wonder if they can stamp what I have in mind. Do they charge more for a little extra stamping?

No, these guys are great Dennis. They said unless it gets insane they do the stampings for FREE.

I personally have ordered a custom designed putter to “my specs” on Monday. It ships Wednesday to me. I’ll have it by Saturday. I’m so fortunate to know “my specs” to fully take advantage of what the putting “artist/scientist” can offer me…a disappearing golf ball(into the hole).

They look real nice, for all that C&L offers it makes a ton of sense to get fitted by your local pro and order a new putter to your own specs.
Though I do not own a C&L putter I can vouch for the fitting part, the smallest adjustment to my lie has made a world of difference in my putting. And bottom line, the price is right for so much personalization they offer.

I realize this is a little late, but I’d like to confirm the head weight…does the 350 signify the weight? … If not, what is the weight, and do you have one just a little heavier, like a 365 or 370 weight?
Thanks for your reply.
