GOLF WEB GEMS – The Diamonds In The Rough!

Some Must-Visit Products & Services For Golfers

For every 1 golf product that makes it…there are literally 100 that don’t.  There are so many dynamics that go into launching a successful new golf product or service in to the marketplace. And in the past most of the golf inventors and site owners out there just didn’t have the resources  needed to do such a launch…well with sites like MyGolfSpy and other social media types sites the playing field has been leveled somewhat.  You can now launch a successful product or service on a shoestring budget.

And that is what today’s article is all about…we want to do our part in regards to shining the light on these diamonds in the rough as we call them. And showcase some of the products and services we feel are deserving.  You might not see these guys advertising on the Golf Channel or in Golf Digest but that does not mean that you won’t be soon.

Many of these guys have spent their life’s savings and then some on trying to make it…so the least we can do is let golfers see what they most likely will not be seeing in the old-school traditional media outlets.

Hope You Enjoy!

1. PREMIO GRIPS – (ALSO FREE GRIP OFFER!)

The majority of you have heard of Iomic Grips I am sure…but if you haven’t they are one of the most popular grips being used by stars on both the US & Japanese pro golf tours.  Golfers love these things…although one of the hurdles they have with golfers is their price being quite expensive.

So if you are looking for a similar grip at a more affordable price Premio Grips Might be just what you are looking for.  And even better is the fact that they are giving all our readers a FREE GRIP! (just pay shipping of $3.95).  We recently got their grips in to test and many of our forum readers have received their FREE GRIP…and so far they have gotten good reviews.  They just launched but we have noticed that after our promotion in the forum they have since been picked up in many golf shops as well.  So if you are interested you can also check out TGW and FairwayGolfUSA.

2. PUTTERLOUNGE.COM – (PIMP YOUR PUTTER!)

Customization & personalization of golf clubs and especially putters is a growing trend in the industry.  And one we see that will continue to grow in the coming years. One of the newest companies in the market you should check out is called PutterLounge.com.  If you are looking to make your putter or clubs truly unique PutterLounge can absolutely do it for you.  They have a great looking website and even better customer service which is one of the reasons we like them so much.

They also have a contest going on right now where you can win a CUSTOM SCOTTY CAMERON PUTTER! ($325 Value).

3. Vibrant Golf – (BE Vibrant)

As we said customization & personalization are big right now and Vibrant Golf is in the business to make your clubs stand out from the crowd.  With their own proprietary polymer coating called, VibraCoat™, they have opened the doors to more options for the golfer…with the ability to add color to once dull steel shafts. In addition, numerous custom options are available from shaft and head engraving to colorful ferrules and more grips choices than you even knew existed.

With countless custom shaft finishes and colors, engraving options, grips and accessories, they have infinite ways to make your game look good.  Vibrant Golf made up some special MyGolfSpy.com shafts that we will be posting pics of soon.

4. Zenieus – Vintage Clubs Are Back W/Modern Twist

For all you guys that still have those persimmon drivers sitting around this might be of interest to you.  The twist is that these only look like persimmon clubs they are really made from graphite and titanium.  So for the die-hard persimmon guys this might not be your cup of tea.  Here is their blurb:

“Vintage Series clubs are specifically designed with the look and feel of older ‘Vintage’ wooden drivers also known as persimmon drivers.  The club’s shaft is made of graphite, the club head looks as if it’s made of wood just like vintage persimmon drivers, although it’s made from aluminum and titanium and provides the technology and performance of today’s modern drivers.” visit Zenieus Golf.

5. PocketPro 2010 (Not Launched Yet)

You might recall us talking about the Mizuno Shaft Optimizer before on Twitter or Facebook.  If this is the first time of you hearing about it…basically it simplifies getting custom fit in a pretty revolutionary way.

Well the PocketPro at least from the looks of it (not launched yet) will take this to the next level.  PocketPro is like having a video swing analysis station, a club speed radar system, and a golf pro all rolled up into your phone. It works by having a small chip that fits imperceptibly under your grip.

Any idea on the price for the Pocket pro? Sounds like a fantastic tool, been waiting for a consumer launch monitor (sort of launch monitor).

Please do a feature (and or review) about the “D-tee” golf tee. It’s a great new product and got a thumbs up from one of the regulars on your discussion board.
