1st Driver To Max Out All USGA Limits!

Posted August 25, 2008 by mygolfspy

Exclusively Distributed by Harrison Golf…Yes the Shaft Company

Almost every driver that has been released in the last 3-5 years promotes having either the Max MOI or the Max COR or the Max Size in CC’s. Everything is all Max’ed out!

And in 2009 a list of new features will be claimed by almost every manufacturer…the “Buzzzz” word for the year will be “Interchangeable”. The term “interchangeable” simply means that most manufacturers will feature either an interchangeable head, shaft, lie or launch angle in 2009. You might have read the article on MYGOLFSPY about the Nike Dymo adjustable driver which lists a few different drivers with the new technology.

But even with all the companies sharing similar technology for the past few years and this new driver technology becoming available…none of them have thought to develop 1 driver that Max’ed out all the areas of the newest technology available in the game of golf. Well that is until now!

Introducing the NEW! Hathaway V4 and Hathaway V6 Drivers

The name is new but the company distributing them is not. Harrison Golf has been a major player in the golf shaft industry for over 10 years. So…when I heard that Harrison was going to be part of a new driver I was definitely interested in getting the inside scoop.

From what we hear it will be marketed as being the “First 4 X 4 For Tough Tracks” kind of Monster Truck’ish sounding…but hey…they do have a good idea and they were the first to do it. The 4 X 4 stands for:

  1. Max - MOI
  2. Max - COR
  3. Max - Head Size
  4. Max Head Dimensions
  1. Interchangeable - Head
  2. Interchangeable - Shaft
  3. Interchangeable - Lie
  4. Interchangeable - Launch Angle

Our insider’s source has shot some photos of the new drivers…we will see if we can get our hands on one to test out for you guys. Our source says that the Hathaway V4 has a more pear shaped head while the Hathaway V6 is more bullet shaped and that they will be available sometime in October.
