(3) GOLFERS WANTED: Test Mizuno JPX EZ Driver & Fairway

Mizuno means irons – we all know that. Grain flow forgings, titanium muscle inserts and buttah soft – it’s the corporate identity.

But drivers and fairway woods? Mizuno?

Mizuno thinks their new driver and fairway wood combo, the JPX EZ, needs to be on your 2016 must-demo list, but we want to know what you think. We need three golfers to test and review Mizuno’s JPX EZ driver and fairway wood. In return, you’ll get a driver/fairway set to keep.

TEST & REVIEW

Mizuno says the JPX EZ driver is a high launching, low-spinning bomber with the forgiveness of a saint, while the JPX EZ fairway wood, with its Shock Wave sole, is just plain easy and just plain long.

MyGolfSpy wants three of you to test and review Mizzy’s latest creations (you’ll get both the driver and fairway to test) and tell us if they perform as advertised.

I live in South Africa. It seems ISA is way ahead of us in these type of tests. But it was interesting receiving this email and checking out the comments.
      Best regards. John

Picked up used MX-200 over winter, played first time with them at Howel today. If these woods are as nice as those irons, its worth asking for them.

Just an FYI if you’re swinging a stiff flex or more, this probably isn’t the driver for you. It works well for slower swingers or guys who need a little more spin to keep the ball in the air longer.

It’s like a Ping G which Bubba Watson uses… Has nothing to do with speed, all to do with spin

Right. The stock shaft, based on fittings I’ve done and seen, tends to spin too much for higher swing speed players.

I just purchased 850 with kbs shafts from c2c. Really excited to get them in my bag. It would be nice to give your woods a try. I play 4-6 times per week and have a 5 handicap.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about these sticks. My Mizzy irons wouldn’t mind sharing the bag.

I play a Titleist 913 D-3 9.5 loft and sometimes a Cobra Fly Z+, adjustable loft set at 9 deg., both with Stiff shafts. Cobra has a lower, more penetrating flight, but the Titleist is easier to maneuver.

      Already play the Mizuno JPX-EZ Driver ( @ 9.5 degree loft ) & the Mizuno JPX-850 Hydrid ( @ 16 degree loft )

Both clubs are extraordinary especially the hybrid…….sets up open & goes within 10yds. of a 3-wood with much more control.

The Driver was purchased as a best Trade-In option & has performed well…..S-Shaft is a little weak for a stiff, but the head is excellent. Very good ball flight, spin control & consistent performer for me……a 4 hdcp. player who plays 4-5 times per week !
