MyGolfSpy Exclusive – Never Compromise Gambler Royal Putter

Never Compromise Gambler Limited Putter

A new year brings and ENTIRELY new look to the Never Compromise Brand in 2011.  Out with the crazy shapes and colors and in with the more traditional designs and Scotty-Esque milling patterns.

And like always MyGolfSpy is giving you the very first look at where this brand is going in the future.  Our friends and sponsors over at GPPGolf.com sent us in these spy pics.  In 2011 think “themes” we you think of the new NC putters.  And the first model from the first “themed” line is the Never Compromise Gambler Royal Putter.  From what we know so far there will be 12 different models released in 3 different themes for 2011 all in limited quantities.  And where the first design might lack in originality in regards to shape it makes up for it on the sole and overall appearance.  Many of us have somewhat forgotten about the name Never Compromise in the past few years…although I think if they can continue down this new path that they might become a more household name in golfers minds when they are on the prowl for a new stick to fix their 3-putting woes.

Rate The New Design (Scale 1-10)

Give Never Compromise your feedback on their first new model for 2011.  Let them know what you think by rating this new design on a scale of 1-10 in the looks category.  10 being (Excellent) they hit it out of the park and a 1 being (Terrible) this is the worst putter you have ever seen.  Have your voice heard by the golf companies on MyGolfSpy.

Got this putter after loaning the GM2 series, I had the Scotty C Newport Studio. Very close in comparison, but I have to say that the NC Royal just clinches it.

Seems like putters are becoming flashier than the belts on the course now. Fashion over function?

Hey Scotty, imitation is the best form of flattery!
Pimp my putter, 10/10 for looks, full house.

I actually like this putter but would need to see the face before giving a rating. I am on the hunt for another gamer to use next year and this could be the one.

looks like a Scotty Cameron all marked up… but if it performs, who cares what it looks like.

8 overall. 10 for the bottom, although the other suits should be there.
6 for the neck. Makes the back too busy for me. Would rather had the stamps in the cavity.
Still like it a lot though.
Cracking the Cameron market share at the Cameron price point may be a daunting task though.

Know when to hold um, and know when to fold um!!! This would most likely putt great with the spades painted on the sole. I am sure VJ will be paid well to put this in his bag.

Got to giv’em a 9.75 for going out on a limb and breaking their mold. It is good to see a putter maker going beyond their comfort zone.

What does it matter what the sole looks like? what does the address position look like? offset, site line, site dot….?? I’m sure you’re limited to what the manufacturers/ resellers send you but we need to see what these clubs look like in the PLAYING POSITION!

Very interesting. Nice enough to knock the Kia Ma 2010 Daytona out of the bag? Not sure but it might get a chance. Like others, I would like to see the face.

I think it looks good. I’d really like to see the face of the putter. I’d give it a 9/10 on looks alone.

      Busy, beautiful and intriguing. 9/10
Hope the engraving on the sole doesn’t collect debris and cause friction.
      I’ll try it for sure.

8… looks expensive a little too sharp in the bumpers for my tastes. I wonder has the playing card suit motif been done to death by the custom crowd? I thought the black and grey designs of NC’s putters really stood out from the crowd this doesn’t. It looks like a custom putter… a beautifully made custom putter.

wow. looks excellent. would like to see the face though before i rate. if the face is as nice as the rest the design gets a 9. hopefully it rolls the ball as good as it looks

I would like to see the top view and the face on view… it’s a little busy but in all the places that won’t effect play. Love the new logo and the idea of themes. Don’t think I’ll trade in the scotty though.
