NIKE DYMO DRIVER – USGA Prototype Photo!

Posted July 30, 2008 by GolfSpy X

Nike Dymo Driver

Will it Be DYMO- MITE?!

We’ve got a bit of a wait ahead of us for the new Nike gear to start hitting the streets, but if this photo of the new Nike DYMO driver from the USGA Conforming list is any kind of indicator of what Nike is leaking out about the new stick, you can see that they are keeping their lips sealed pretty tight. This image shows that they are following one new trend in golf club development, in which keeping graphics and logos off of the heads that companies send in to the USGA for testing is becoming more common practice. Smart move.

Nike Rumors

Speculation has been swirling over the last couple months that a new line of clubs, the Nike VR line is right around the corner. They are many of rumors about what the new line will both look like and also what new technology the line will feature. Some of the rumors include:

  • Driver w/Adjustable Loft
  • Driver w/Adjustable Lie
  • Driver w/Adjustable MOI
  • 2 Drivers (Non-Square Players Club Driver and Square Game Improvement Driver)
  • New Blade (Similar to Tiger Woods Iron)
  • New Combo Set (Full Cavity, Mid Cavity and Blade)
We have seen and confirmed some of these rumors but some are still not 100% confirmed.  But the crew at MYGOLFSPY thinks you will be quite impressed with the 2009 Nike line-up.  It has shown to be a bumpy but successful road for the new-comer to the industry but 2009 looks like an exciting year for Nike Golf.

Take a Guess? What do YOU think the new term “DYMO” stands for?
