Ping S57 Iron “Spy Photos”
We got some great spy shots of a new design Ping is working on, the Ping S57 iron. From our insiders at Ping they say they might be releasing them as early as the “Fall of 2008″. (UPDATE: 3/20/08 RELEASED IN JAPAN) If you are familiar with the Ping S59 and Ping S58 then you will quickly see the similarities. But where I thought the S59 and S58 lacked I think the S57 might fill those gaps. The S59 was Pings attempt to make a true player’s iron, but in my opinion fell short in the feel department. The Ping S57 looks like it will take care of that issue, I will be interested to hit a set. And as soon as I get my hands on them I will let you know how they feel.
