I would love to win this shaft. I’m new to the game since I’ve always viewed it to be an upper class sport..till a good friend of mine finally convinced me to pick up this decade old clubs off Craig’s list. I’m going on my second month and 5th visit to a golf course. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every single struggle in learning the game. Hours on you tube and practicing in my backyard have helped quite a bit.

But still with the lack of resources I’m stuck having to rely on Craig’s list in building a better set of clubs. I’ve used my friend’s driver a few times and his Taylor made with his fujikura shaft is beyond comparison to my beat up big bertha that’s over 17 years old.

This shaft will not only help my quest to get the perfect set of clubs suited for me, but also it would absolutely help me appreciate this gentleman’s sport.

I would love to have this shaft to install into my new Taylormade R1. I had a Fujikura installed in my old R7 CGB max Driver and had been using it with great success. I want to improve the performance of the R1 with this new shaft.

Using the Fujikura app on my smartphone gave the following recommendations.

1. Motore F1 55
2. Blur 004
3. Blur 005
4. EXS 5.1

WOW what a shaft to win and put in my new Titleist D2 Driver!!! I definitely would benefit from a shaft that would help me “generate greater distance and accuracy on a more consistent basis. With this shaft, my power would be on display for everyone to see”.

And I used the Fujikura online fitting app and it PROVED that I am right for this BEAUTIFUL shaft. I am SO ready to hear my name as the winner of this amazing shaft. What a GREAT US Open to watch on TV and congrats to Justin Rose.

I love the review of this shaft.
Things I like:
1. All the testers said they’d put it in the bag, so it must produce great results.
2. Counter-balanced, which I like. Helps control the head and face angle. Hey, if it worked for Jack Nicklaus, who am I to argue.
3. Butt soft, tip stiff, which is the combo that I like.
4. Straight hitter, fantastic dispersion improvement. Yes, I could use that.

As a Division III player and a college student, I don’t get a chance to get an upgrade in equipment too often. I’d really appreciate this shaft.

Fujikura fitting says I fit into the Speeder VC 6.1 Stiff. I’m sure the Fuel’ll be just as good for me. XD

I deserve this shaft because when I was golfing last week I accidently dropped my driver (about 2 feet onto the tee box) and the head popped right off the shaft!

I got fitted here at Paris for my 913 and they confirm that the Fuel 60s will perfectly fit my game.
The Fujikura app confirm it as well. So it would be perfect if you could send me one.
On top of it, I love the graphic/colors of this special us open version…

I just downloaded the Fujikura Golf App and got fitted for the same shaft. The Fuel 60S.

I love the playing the shaft because it feels solid at the top of the backswing when I start to load it, but not “boardy” coming down.

I got fitted at Club Champion Chicago for a Fujikura Fuel 60S for my Taylormade R1. Bought them both and it has totally transformed my game. I’ve been explaining to my friends and family I golf with that while the head of a driver is important, it pales in importance to the shaft. I’ve urged them to spend the money to get fitted. Quite a few of them have. My cousin, uncle, and brother got fitted for the same shaft as me! I’d like this shaft so I can continue representing the Fujikura brand.

I should win this because I have just purchased a G25 and this would be a great combination! Plus my nephew is being deployed to Afganistan and a red/white/blue shaft would be a great reminder for me that he’s out there defending us so I can do things I want to do, like play golf.

I am currently using the 60s in my driver and would like to have the LE version. Great looking and performing shaft!

I used the app for fitting advice and it gave me the Fuel as my first option and it was a great recommendation.

I have been unable to purchase an aftermarket shaft due to the high cost and secondly would not know which to pick that would work in helping me to improve my performance. This would be outstanding to win such a prize.

I had been using the Fujikura iPhone App for the last few months as I was thinking of replacing my Project X Tour Issue shafts (7C3, 8C4, HD2) for driver, fairway, and hybrid. I was looking for better feel and tighter dispersion and the Fujikura app was very helpful in fitting me into a shaft so that I had an idea before going into a fitting.

I also re-read an old MGS review on the Motore Speeder shaft and from there I made my decision just last week splurging on THREE motore speeder shafts (7.2 TS, VC 8.2 & 8.1). It was a toss up for me between the speeder and the fuel and the fitter said I could go either direction so it would be awesome if I win a fuel shaft to compare with my new motore shafts!

Fujikura App fitting parameters: Fuel 60 Tour Spec, Motore 6.2 TS, or 6.2, all X-flex. I’m okay with either 60 or 70g driver shafts and have already purchased the Motore 7.2 TS with matching 8.2 and 8.1 for fairway and hybrid. It would be great to get the Fuel Tour Spec 60 to compare.

I should win this shaft because it is perfect for my 3 wood. Fujikura has always been my go to shaft if choice and I have recently tested a fuel in a Ping g25 and it was by far the best combo for me.

I actually downloaded the fujikura app before my last driver purchase. It fit me into the Motore Speeder Tour Spec 7.2 and after testing many shafts it was the clear winner for me. I now have a Ping Anser with this shaft and it is an absolute monster.

I should win this shaft because I want to hit more shots from the short grass! This shaft is beautiful and the data speaks for itself on its overall performance. Although honestly I am not sure if I have a club I would want to use it on yet or deserving enough, so it may just have to go on display on the man cave mantle for a little bit. Absolutely stunning colors and design.

Don’t have a smartphone for the app, but did the online fitting and got the result of a Motore Speeder VC7.1
