MyGolfSpy would like to congratulate December 2011’s “MyGolfSpy Forum Member of the Month”, RookieBlue7.
Like last month’s winner, Moecat, RookieBlue7 has been an active member of our forum since we launched in the Spring of 2010. In addition to his regular participation in our forums, he is a frequent commentor on both MyGolfSpy.com and our Facebook Page.
In December, RookieBlue7 was an active participant in a number of threads, and started two of our favorite forum topics of the month:

It has always been our policy here at MyGolfSpy that you don’t have to agree with us to have your voice heard. Everyone is entitled to post a contrary opinion so long as it is done so in a polite and courteous manner.
Sufficed to say RookieBlue7 makes the most out of that policy. He is often disagreeable, sometimes argumentative, and occasionally downright combative, but in being so he is never impolite or insulting. He and others like him prevent us from falling too much in love with the sound of our own voices (or keystrokes as the case may be). In many way, RookieBlue7 embodies the spirit of MyGolfSpy, and we’re extremely happy he’s decided to spend his time here.

The Forum Member of the Month isn’t simply given to the forum member who starts the most topics, or comments on the most posts. It’s given to a reader we feel has done an outstanding job of eliciting conversation, contribution to the discussion, and ultimately helping grow the MyGolfSpy Community.
