2012 Taylormade RocketBallz Driver & Irons
In today’s time news travels fast! And controlling leaks of products before they launch is next to impossible. Although, I have to applaud Taylormade when it comes to keeping these a secret as long as they did. They have done a better job then anyone I have seen to date keeping their 2012 secrets close to the vest. That being said though some of the new gear has leaked around the web and we have some pics of the new 2012 Taylormade “RocketBallz” line-up for you to take a look at. And while these look to be knockoffs of the true production models they are a good representation of what you will see from the RocketBallz line-up in 2012.

I was considering a new driver. I took my old driver (ping ti3, 8.5) in to the store and hit my club against several new models, including the RBZ. Measurements were taken on club speed, launch angle, launch velocity, launch spin rate, side spin rate, and ten of course the machine simulated ball flight.
The RBZ was consistently 20 yards longer than my club, and 5-15 yards longer than any of the other new ones I hit. Ping, Callaway, TM R, king Cobra.
I went to a different store and did the same thing, same results. So I ended up buying the RBZ, and results on the course mirrored those in te store.
