(4) Testers Wanted: Precision Pro Nexus Laser Rangefinder

There are few universal truths in golf, but one that has taken hold is that if you want a high-quality laser rangefinder, be prepared to shell out at least 3 bills, maybe 4.

Anything less leans toward the “toy” end of the of golf equipment spectrum.

Testers Wanted:

The folks at Precision Pro are taking aim at the notion that a laser rangefinder has to be a big ticket item. The company says its Nexus Laser can stand toe to toe with the big boys at a price that you won’t have to hide from your significant other.

MyGolfSpy has been able to secure 4 of these babies, and we’re looking for four avid, accuracy loving golfers to test them out for us.

Play every Wednesday and Thursday plus range time throughout the week. I have very poor vision and often times can’t see where the flag is and have actually employed a hunters distance monitor to make sure everything is clear and I’m hit ting toward pin. I will admit it has helped me visualize my shots but adnittedly, I tend to avoid golfing alone.

No need for me to test I already bought one sent it back for a replacement then had to throw it in the trash. I tested it against my friends bushnell, leupold, hallway range finders. Theirs all got the same reading every time within half a yard of each other. The precision pro was off by 4-5 yards every time. I was told it was a calibration error but it happened again when the brand new unit arrived. Quality for price is just not as good especially when you can get a bushnell for same price these days

      Hello Nexus,

I play several rounds a week. Older guy but still walk the course. Will be able to provide you with excellent feedback. Will look forward to the opportunity of helping you with your program. Best, Stan

Bob, California (Silicon Valley), consistently shoot in the mid to high 70s, no formal handicap since I play late in the day and seldom play 18 – would be about a 4.0. My distances are very consistent. I would know immediately how accurate this rangefinder is.
I sometimes test Titleist golf balls and give detailed feedback. I assume Nexus wants that.
