I know I have left a few clubs behind playing golf in my day. I am sure the majority of us have, and it really sucks when that club you left behind is your favorite. I am still angry about the only putter that ever worked for me being stolen almost 15 years ago. Well, I hear that Cleveland Golf has solved this problem for all of us forgetful golfers. And it sounds like it will actually be released sometime in 2008
Heres How It Will Work
1. Just press the “ON” button when you arrive at the first tee
2. Switch the button “OFF” when you are done with your round
3. An LED light will blink and chirp to remind you if you forgot your clubs along the way
Simple as that!
This new CLUB COUNT TECHNOLOGY acts like a virtual caddie, always counting during the golf round. The CLUB COUNT Bag, with electronic sensors built into the bag, will warn players anytime they leave a club behind on the course. A subtle chirp and LED light will only warn players when they fail to return the same number of clubs that they pulled from the bag.
This is the only picture and details I have recieved about the new bag so far, but I will be sure to bring you nay new info as soon as I get it.

I am going to assume that this bag never took off. I have never even heard of this bag until I just decided tonight to go back to the last page adn read my way up through posts.
The idea behind the bag is very simple and I can see where it might be beneficial to some people, but not everyone.

This bag did not take off but some other bag companies might pay for the technology.
