Cobra-PUMA Video – Put on Your Orange Pants – Watch & Listen

Ever Heard Of Jose Miraflor?

If you played TaylorMade irons or wedges in the early-to-mid 2000s, there's a good chance that if you don't know Jose, you're familiar with his work. Jose started out building clubs for Titleist before moving over to the product side at TaylorMade. Now Cobra-PUMA's Director of Product Marketing, Jose is definitely not your typical marketing suit.

Though he says he doesn't do it much anymore, Jose earned a rep as one of the top wedge grinders in the industry. True story...the only bunker shot I've ever holed was with a Jose Miraflor grind wedge. Still true...It was actually Jose's personal wedge...right out of his bag.

While Jose hasn't lost any of his technical knowledge, in the video you'll see why he so's valuable in his current role as he sneaks in references to Cobra-PUMA's MyFly Technology, and his company's greater call to get you to Enjoy Golf.

Put on your orange pants...make that blue pants; watch and listen as Jose and I chat about bringing new products to market, making drivers go farther, and getting yours truly hooked up with Cobra-PUMA Ambassador and Symetra Tour player, Blair O'Neal.

Great interview. Just got my first cobra club the other day. Zl encore white driver. Too bad golf season isn’t for another 2 months up north. Hopefully I have a good first impression.

Jose really gives of a “cool dude” vibe in that video. Would love to play a round with him. It really seems like he gets the “for fun” side of the game as well as the competitive.

Next time Tony heads to Puma HQ in Carlsbad, I’m tagging along :)

Jose is a great guy, and a very good club guy. I have known him for about 20 yrs. since he was with Taylor Made. A great Wedge guy also. Anyone who knows him and what he does can’t help but like him and what he does. I have the Encore ZL, a great club and my next is the Amp Pro, the Encore is great, but he said the Amp is even better.
