There are some wildly talented people in this world.

Just spend 5 minutes on the search feature in Instagram and you will no doubt have to agree (Since it’s the internet I also know you will try and disagree).

The internet has given a voice and a canvas to all those that were given a talent. Their gift of genius no matter how big or small can lead you down a many of rabbit hole. One of those rabbit holes is what brings us to our article today.

I went down a rabbit hole, and this is what I found.

I have seen just about everything in golf. That was until I ran in to a post by a guy that ran something called BloodSweatAndThread. For all the other cut and paste designs and people in and around golf, I quickly realized this guy, well he was different. In a good way.

If you have followed MyGolfSpy for sometime you have no doubt seen some of his designs. We loved them so much we had him design our staff bag tags here at MGS. One of which we will be giving away to you today.

You might see this as just another bag tag made just another guy. We see it as something much different. This is a representation of everything we are about.

The truth is black and white, so are our tags. MyGolfSpy is different, so are our tags. The team that makes up MyGolfSpy is small but intensely passionate, so was the man behind the design. We give a damn about giving a damn, so does BloodSweatAndThread.

I believe Golf Spy does the research in a non biased approach. I think of their research as the real deal of golf stuff and they do the best job of testing everything golf. I am a believer!

This is the greatest golf insider news, unbiased, blunt, noteworthy on golf clubs, manufactures, the latest on who owns whome, and opportunities to test new products. I have begun researching Tom Wishoms Sterling single length irons and I must say it all makes sense to me after playing for 67 years. I have set up a demo and fitting with Jim Holley (Holley;s STIX) in Tennessee in the next couple of weeks and look forward to sharing my adventure with MGS.

I read MGS so that I can stay on the up and up as I run a retail pro shop where I am asked all the time about what is going on in the golf industry. I have had great conversations with my customers because I was already informed or read a great review of an upcoming product. I have also referenced articles and inside notes with my colleagues and customers. Thanks for all you do for us.

I read MGS because the articles and issues and reviews are well written, yield an unbiased view of the equipment and are interesting. I have met many friends on the MGS site, some of whom I play golf with occasionally. That alone gives you a sense of respect for MGS as they attract a quality golfer.

I’ve been hooked on this site several years,primarily because of being able to receive unbiased info concerning golf products. pretty much unable to trust other sites….although in the greater scheme of things, it’s cost me dearly. I’ve purchased PowerBilt, Ping, and Cobra drivers, PowerBilt, Cobra,and JPX800Pro irons, MyGolfSpy putter headcover (which someone pilfered), and numerous and sundry other items. I still trust it!

I’ve been reading MGS for some time. I like the unbiased, tell it like it is equipment reviews, reading the articles about what is happening in the golf world and the opinions of other golfers on everything golf. Also the chance to win contests and the chance to try new equipment. I was lucky enough to have to be chosen to test the Accra Fx 150 shaft and it is still in my R15 head. It reads made especially for Dan Corun! Where else would I go to read about golf but, MGS.

I like MGS because I am a no Bull s**t guy and tell it like it is. MGS is just like me. I have done a couple of tests of equipment and I was encourgaged to be truthful by the staff and not to sugar coat anything. That is honesty and goes a long ways with me. Everyone’s opinion is welcomed here good or bad and one does not get flamed. We may have some differences of opinion but we move on and stay friends

This is an easy one. I read the blog for the unbiased testing and data driven results. Nobody else is doing that. I stayed and joined the forum for the amazing golf community. Nowhere else on the internet have I found a more respectful group of anonymous people coming together to share their passion and knowledge. It’s just a great place to hang out!!

Quick side note, I’ve been trying to get a custom mallet cover from Blood Sweat and Thread. He said he could do it, but he was way too busy at the time and to check back later. Turns out it was these bag tags that he was making! So thanks for delaying my Optimus Prime putter cover :)
