MyGolfSpy Announces Partnership With Golf Mechanix

MyGolfSpy today announced that Golf Mechanix is now the Official Tool and Gauge Supplier to the MyGolfSpy testing facility.

Under the new partnership, Golf Mechanix will help outfit the MyGolfSpy facility with a variety of tools that will further enhance MyGolfSpy’s Most Wanted, Labs, and other product reviews.

Already the industry leader in data-driven performance tests, MyGolfSpy is looking forward to providing even more information to its readers.

“This is a tremendous opportunity, and not just for MyGolfSpy,” says Company Owner, Adam Beach. “Golf Mechanix tools will allow us to provide the consumer with more club data than ever before.”

As the partnership grows, MyGolfSpy will be able to bring in more tools that will allow it to continuously expand its testing program. Says Beach, “we have some exciting things in the works.”

About Golf Mechanix

banner-5-3_01For those who might be unfamiliar with the brand, Golf Mechanix produces many of the industry standard tools and gauges utilized by major OEMs and casting houses across the globe.

GolfMechanix tools are likewise a favorite among professional club fitters and builders as well.

“For MyGolfSpy, and by extension, our readers, to have the same tools at our disposal that the OEMs, fitters, and builders will provide an invaluable opportunity for us to provide the golfer with far greater insight into the clubs he’s thinking about putting in his bag.” – Adam Beach, Owner, MyGolfSpy

As MyGolfSpy adds measurements for loft, face angle, weight, and swing weight measurements to each club test, readers will have access to more detailed information than ever before.

“I’ve always focused on the consumer,” says Beach. “Our partnership with Golf Mechanix will increase our ability to separate fact from fiction and reality from mythology. It’s about arming our readers with the truth, and letting them know what they’re actually buying.”

berk-mechanix-9In the coming months, MyGolfSpy will be sharing more specific information about how the new Golf Mechanix workshop will be leveraged to provide even more data to its readers”.

Hobbyists and aspiring builders can also look forward to the occasional exclusive discounts on select Golf Mechanix tools.

Love it! Now we’ll be able to see how much variance there is in shafts marked ‘stiff’, ‘regular’, etc. It doesn’t seem to be standard across all manufacturers…

Cool-I discovered Golf Mechanix a couple of years ago. Great tools- look forward to whatever discounts Goldspy can provide. Market should definitely open since Golfsmith carried a lot of his equipment.

This is very cool! The additional data will be invaluable to all of us readers. I hope that MGS can develop and maintain a database of club information for the clubs that are tested. Is that feasible? Once an OEM comes out with new models, their website dumps data for older models and specs are hard to find.
