Adam Beach

My name is Adam Beach. This place, this site, it’s more than just a business to me, it truly is an expression of who I am and what I believe in, down to my core. I feel the work I do is a reflection of who I am and the idea behind the work I do is more important than the work itself. You see, I don’t actually see myself in the golf business at all, I am in the business of caring. I am a guy who wakes up with one goal: do the right thing.

Just hit a couple of shots with a 7 Iron for the first time, I was going to but buy T/M TPs but I think you have changed my mind they are fantastic, need to know where my nearest fitting centre for Ping so I can be tailored, never wanted to buy Ping because of the looks at address but these change my outlook. I live in the North East and will travel to fitting Centre H/C 8.5

Hi I’m at presant a 22 handycap ,been using callaway big bertha’s for about 3 yrs ,like the look and feel of these babies, i took a 7 iron out with 50/50 feed back, the good shots i had had more height and went just abit further. Are these clubs more suited for the single handycap ,or are they going to be forgiving enough for me to grow in to. ps

Very nice irons from what I felt in the golf shop. Demoed a 7 iron today and one of the best irons I have ever hit. Would get them right now, but don’t have the money :/ But they have an incredibly soft feel, easy to hit shots high or low, amazing workability, and even a fair amount of forgiveness. Haven’t tried these on the course or driving range, but very good first impression on the simulator. I am not even a very good ball striker with my irons (11 hcp), but found these to be extremely easy to hit. Pretty good appearance, but I prefer the look of the s57’s over these. If you don’t like the look, just ignore it and try it because the performance of these irons will blow you away. Hopefully I’ll be able to buy these irons soon!

With the Mechanic winning the Irish open fresh off of switching to the S-56’s and with Louis following up with the Open sporting 56’s, it could not bode better for PING…they are sure to be a hit!

Side by side, I certainly prefer the new forged ansers and I reckon the outgoing s57’s too. Odd; the more I look at these, the more something seems amiss. The clean lines have been lost; it appears Ping have tried to be more discreet, but hmmm….committee effort? Maybe they should just do away with the (s56) medallion altogether (very tacky) and tone down that shiny insert? That said, am in the market for a players iron, Ping always deliver, and with no chance of getting ansers in the UK (the perfect choice-beautifully understated with offsets between i15 and s57-get a grip Ping!!), was going to buy s57’s, but will now wait a while longer and definitely give these a go. My only real gripe with Ping; would like to see an alternative lightweight steel shaft to their stock AWTs / ZZ65s that is not a custom option. These two options have felt a litttle long in the tooth for far too long and their ball flight is just way way too high (DGSL flight almost horizontal.) As for the copper wedge, it better out-perform everything, it’s an absolute minger! Horrendous insert – what were they thinking? Bound to fly off the shelves then.

Need to see them from all angles, but first impression for me is favorable. Looks like a smaller head than most Pings, and the insert is more understated than most other clubs with inserts.

Wow. Those are the first set of ping irons that look like I’d want to try them. I’ve been using same mizuno set for 7 years and I’d love a new set but can’t afford them. Those are great looking and hope they look jus as good in person

In this case a picture isn’t worth 1000 words. You can’t judge this book by its cover. I have learned that looks are not the main concern. I have swung clubs that visually looked great but…
I have swung clubs that I wasn’t totally comfortable with the look.

In the long haul, how does the ball react and can I adjust my mindset the the look if I first find the look a bit awkward.

Meh, they’re OK, but not all that great in the looks department. I think that the 57’s were much prettier.

We’ll see how they feel at the range though.

Not bad for a Ping iron. A little too busy and I don’t like thick toplines, but it’s much better than previous generations. Those that like Pings will love these, I suspect.
Many people love tattoos. Others find nothing more beautiful than bare unadorned skin. Same principle. I’ll call them P-ink

Would love to see these beauties at address/face.
Wedge looks futuristic and very tempting.
Ping amazes me that they continue to look like nothing else on the market and yet their equipment performs as good as or better than most.
Very innovative and they do an exceptional job of keeping the “buzz” going.
      Go Ping!

I’d heard they are making these available in Japan first. So based on that markets sales/feedback wonder how that will bode on a U.S. roll out date?

Nice looking irons. They appear from the photos to be a little thick on the top line, but not too bad. Shape looks similar to the G-15s. I’ll definitely be making a trip to try them out once they hit the market!

WOW! these look amazing. I had a new set of s57 stolen from my car less than a month ago and i am now going to wait until these come out to replace my s57. Maybe ping (if they see this) can hook me up with a set before they hit store shelves.

I hit them both at the golf store last week… the s57 set is now $200 less expensive and I didn’t notice any difference with the new / improved s56 irons off the mats / with a simulator. A little smaller head than my 2 year old Titiliest irons, but sooo much nicer! SOLID feel with every shot (sweet weighting system) and they feel like butter too. Gonna be a hard decision between the two, but PING is going in my bag for 2011… and I look forward to sporting a single digit handicap once again too! Please, no smart-ass replies until you hit them too..
