Bridgestone Golf is Subtle

Bridgestone is about as subtle as, well…I guess Callaway when it comes to teasing its latest golf ball.

Apparently the new ball is the #BESTBALLEVER. Sign me up.

It’s been two years since the B330 Series (B330, B330-S, B330-RX, B330-RXS) was updated, so a new tour ball isn’t unexpected, but this bit of bravado from the generally restrained company certainly is.

I kinda like it.

We’re not sure how this is all going to play out, but Bridgestone has an in-no-uncertain-terms kind of teaser on its Instagram page right now.

Check it out.

Fantastic news as they’ve pulled out the UK market. I’ve heard the US get one more year! Enjoy them while you can! I miss them already!

Rumor is, the RX line will be in that 39.95 price to compete against the Chrome Soft, it will also be soft like the chrome soft and the b330 and 330s will be 47ish bucks

I have played the RXS since it came out. Great ball, good durabilty.
Can’t wait to see what nano fibers bring to golf ball performance and durabilty.

Bridgestone balls are the best for ppl who don’t have high swing speeds. I don’t swing fast enough to compress a tour ball but a Bridgestone 330 feels like butter on my club face

Interesting, I’m never opposed to trying new products and being open minded to new technologies. I’ll try a box when there out just as I have Titelist, Nike, Top Flite, Snell, Wilson and others. If you don’t try new “stuff” you just may miss, in this case a ball that suites your swing pattern and club head speed. I’m very satisfied at present with Callaway’s chrome soft. Yes, I’ve played all the above.

Built-in GPS? I’ve lost balls in the fairway. I’ve tried all the colors. White against clouds is an issue for my eyes. Yellow with dandelions doesn’t work. Orange with fall leaves is a problem. Well, leaves in general can cover a ball. Do I need a portable leaf blower? GPS tracking to my cellphone, that’s the “Best ball ever.” One that doesn’t get lost.

Nano technology is comming into the golf business! Few tests here in the Czech rep. shows that nano fibers covering the ball changes all current durability and distance borders.

I guess that nano technology is comming to golf business. We did few tests here in the Czech rep. with nano fibers covering the ball and results are just unimaginable.

It’s excite worthy considering people’s biggest complaint about balls is scuffing. This changes the game!

If they float, I’ll get a few dozens. :P

That said, I like their BB330 RX and RXS series and I still have 2 boxes.

Mike! You should be excited not about our marketing but about the technology in this ball. It took us over 4 years to perfect – it contains more technology than we’ve ever put in a ball. We truly believe it will be the #bestballever

I’ve been an avid RX player for a couple of years now. Prior to that I played every model of newly released Precept and then Bridgestone balls until I found the RX. If the new balls are remotely better, I’ll be there. I’ve played(tinkered with) other brands just for comparison purposes and the RX is the ball I always, without hesitation, return to. Each newly introduced line of Bridgestone balls have been an improvement on the prior line and I’m really excited about the prospect of something being better then the RX. Hopefully GolfSpy will be able to get some samples out to us diehard Bridgestone players.

Matt, not true! This ball has more technology and we’ve ever put in a new ball. Can’t tell you much, but we can promise it’s way more than new packaging and it might have the same name :)
